2. PESCAT software is a program written in Access and compiled so anyone with at least Windows 3.1 can run it. It contains user friendly forms for inputting data and reporting results. Considerable help is included within the program so the user can find information about PESCAT guidelines without referring to the Handbook. All data sheets and summary analysis forms are also available on Lotus spreadsheets.
